Anne was a bride with a clear vision. Her wedding florals had to have a ‘Pride & Prejudice’ vibe, and she knew exactly where to turn to make her dream a reality. She was inspired by the wedding florals we created for a previous client and knew we were the wedding florist for her. A ‘Pride & Prejudice’ vibe evokes a sense of classic elegance, romance, and abundant English countryside gardens. It’s something out of the ordinary, taking unexpected and non-traditional flowers and elevating them to become completely unique wedding floral arrangements. Our elevated and elegant, opulent garden design style was a perfect fit for this vision.
The backdrop for Anne and her partner's wedding was the stunning Gedney Farm, in Massachusetts. The venue's picturesque countryside setting was the perfect complement to their vision of a dreamy and romantic wedding. After several consultations and finalizing the color palette and direction, we grew the perfect mix of seasonal flowers to provide a relaxed yet elegant garden style on our flower farm. Planning, starting the seeds, and growing the wedding flowers in a sustainable way for each of our couples is a level of quality that not many couples can have. And we delight in not only taking the weddings full circle in this way, but also knowing that what we produce is the highest possible quality.
As we worked on creating the perfect floral arrangements for Anne's wedding, we could not help but feel like we were bringing to life the love story of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy from 'Pride & Prejudice.' We believe that the couple's wedding flowers would have been approved by the iconic literary characters, and we know for sure that Anne and her partner were delighted with our work.
In the end, Anne's wedding was a beautiful celebration of love and romance, surrounded by stunning flowers and a picturesque setting. It was an honor for us to be a part of such a special day, and we were thrilled to see our work come to life in such a magical way.
