Oak Leaves is an original block print originally created as a paper cut-out and then drawn out on a silk screen by hand: the directness and energy of the original scissor-marks are still to be seen. The motif references Matisse's paper cut outs.
Oak Leaves is currently available in four colour ways: a perfect simple Red, a child's paint-box Blue, and the more subtle Sap Green and delicate Pale Pink.
The vegetable-oil based ink is hand-mixed and printed onto a matte 90gsm cream paper. A sheet of paper measures 50 cm x 70 cm.
